01
The Problem
People already take more photographs than ever, but most of those memories remain trapped on phones, cloud accounts, old prints, and forgotten storage. The challenge was not simply creating another photo-printing business. Pic Eros needed to make physical photography feel relevant again while serving customers who often did not know how to move an image from their phone into a finished print, restored photograph, keepsake, or gift.
02
The Process
I built Pic Eros as a live retail experiment around one core idea: memories are worth making tangible. The brand developed across identity, merchandising, signage, packaging, product selection, restoration services, cameras, instant printing, and the physical booth experience. Customer behavior then shaped the system in real time. When photo transfer became a clear friction point, the ordering journey evolved from assisted service to QR submission, a dedicated kiosk, and eventually a mobile ordering experience.
03
Resolution & Outcome
Pic Eros became more than a visual identity. It became a connected customer experience spanning retail, technology, products, service, and physical brand touchpoints. The system continues to evolve through direct observation and customer feedback, with each change focused on making memory preservation easier, more approachable, and more meaningful. The project ultimately became a practical case study in how brand strategy, customer experience, and operations can work together as one system.
